How Zumbini supports your child's development

EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Music will help your child identify what different emotions may “sound” and “feel” like. The different rhythms in our class create intentional shifts in your child’s mood—some boosting their energy levels, while others help them relax.
FINE + GROSS MOTOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Vibrant movement, choreography, and instrument play throughout the class activate both small and large muscle groups, promoting your child's overall physical development.
COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT
Music and movement stimulate neural connections in the brain, especially in young children. Your child will use reason and logic when identifying music patterns and playing instruments, while the repetition of sounds and syllables will enhance your child’s language development.
SOCIAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Connecting with their peers through dynamic song, dance, and instrument play — our classes offer a high level of social interaction in which your child will learn age-appropriate social skills.
Your Zumbini Instructor
Hi, I'm Niina Ajango Konz. licensed Zumbini instructor, owner of Little Rainbows Play Place, and boy mom. I am SO excited to share my love of music and movement with our community! With my background in childcare, music, and the performing arts, Zumbini feels like a natural fit and a wonderful way to continue serving children and families in the area.

Class Policies
Please note that these policies are in addition to our regular policies.
Class attendees are expected to follow all policies and rules set forth by Little Rainbows Play Place while visiting the facility.
Adult Participation:
Caregivers are required to participate in class alongside their children. We recommend a maximum of 2 children per adult to facilitate class flow and bonding. Additional adults are welcome to attend at no extra cost.
Attire:
Please dress comfortably and be ready to move. Shoes may not be worn in class, as classes are held in our no-shoes play area. We highly recommend grip socks for all participants.
Waivers:
Signed waivers are required for every class participant. This includes adults who may attend occasionally, such as visiting grandparents, babysitters, etc.
Drop-Ins:
We do allow drop-in participants as long as space is available. To prevent the activity area from getting too crowded, classes are limited to a maximum of 12 children.
Missed Class Policy:
If you are unable to attend class for any reason, please let us know and you may attend a make-up class on a later date. Refunds will not be issued for any missed classes.
Little Rainbows staff reserves the right to make exceptions on all policies on a case-by-case basis.
